Friday, May 8, 2009 VAA 16 meeting at the CAF Hangar, New Century Airport, New Century (Gardner), Kansas.

The annual January 1st Chili Lunch hosted by Friends of Gardner Airport (FOGA) in the FBO at the Gardner Municipal Airport, Gardner, Kansas. Always a very well attended event with folks from everywhere.

Our first retail display--in the Airline History Museum, Downtown Wheeler Airport, KC,MO. It turned into much more than just our display, as Eva was asked to be the volunteer Gift Shop Manager with Gwyn as her assistant. AHM Executive Director, Paul Sloan, had a vision to see a re-organization and a fresh new look, so we developed the plan and executed it--along with help from Randy and Nancy.

Thursday, September 25th, Ruth Richter Holden and her Lockheed 12-A arrived at the Downtown Wheeler Airport in KC,MO as part of The Spirit of TWA cross-country flight.

Great little Airshow September 13th sort of. You'll see. Despite the really inclement weather, we loved this little Airshow. The people were terrific and we definitely want to go back again next year.

Shots from a brief visit to the CAF Heart of America Wing Open House on Sunday, July 13th, New Century Airport in Gardner, Kansas. The event was all but rained out on Saturday and it appeared everyone did come out on Sunday. You had to park remotely and take a shuttle but to the CAF's credit, everything seemed to be running very smoothly.

Saturday, June 28th, the annual KC Area Vintage Fly In at Gardner Municipal Airport, Gardner, Kansas hosted by Flatland Flyers VAA Chapter 16.

Twice yearly CAF Hangar Dance, CAF Hangar, New Century Airport, Gardner, Kansas. One dance is held in June and the other in September.

Bartlesville, Oklahoma, June 6-7, 2008. Our first fly in as vendors with our gift shop.

While Eva was on the road, Gwyn and her granddaughters, two Petite Plane Dames, attended the first AHM Hangar Dance, Saturday, May 17th.
